Lost in love, Forbidden from loving another

Someone who came as close meeting my mother

Which she stills talks about you, wonder if she does to?

She’ll come around; searching for the lost that can’t be found

So I left town for the better, promising myself to work harder

Because a little part of me does it for her

Just seeing her smile is a pleasure

And even though the distance seems farther than it is

Hearts depart from being closer, fighting not to look over my shoulder

Having questions but no answerers toward the future

But going forward seeing what life has to offer
